Announcing her decision at age four to become an artist, Krystii was selling paintings by age 14. Following studies in painting, drawing, graphic design and photography, Krystii enjoyed a successful career as a fashion designer specializing in bridal and evening gowns. Returning to her life-long passion for painting, Krystii undertook five years of study in traditional tonal realism, focusing on portraiture. With her fascination for people and animals, Krystii found inspiration in the Native Americans, cowboys and horses of the American West, moving from Australia to Spokane, Washington in 2010 to be closer to her favorite Western subjects. In-depth research and making replica Native American clothing and artifacts in the traditional ways ensures authenticity and accuracy, while dedication to the artistic process brings the people of the American West to life in Krystii’s paintings.
