Learn about the art of cell phone photography with Wickenburg Art Club member Stan Strange.
Stan’s interest in photography started young and eventually led to a year at ASU as a photography and art major. He decided he liked it enough to go into photography commercially and specialized in portraiture. His work has been published, including a write-up in a book by Eastman Kodak specifically for professional photographers.
For many year, Stan perfected his portraiture skills and did nature photography in his time off. Now retired, Stan’s state of the art digital mirrorless camera spends most of its time safely tucked in its bag while he takes pictures with his iPhone. He loves the straightforward simplicity the phone affords and the creative options available right at his fingertips. He says, “It’s like photoshop in your pocket and it’s never been so much fun”.
