Sally Delap-John

New Mexico |

Painting, whether en plain air or in the studio, is a solitary challenge – the painter, the canvas, the media, and the subject. Of course, that is not all. There is also inspiration, innovation, and personal quirky tendencies. All of these ingredients plus art education and life experience go into the making of a painting.

Sally lives in Truchas, New Mexico, between Santa Fe and Taos, on the High Road. Spanish Colonial villages, high desert vegetation, and adobe structures are the subject matter to which she applies vibrant brushstrokes of color.
