DCWM offers great outdoor adventure tours that historically highlight “where it all began” for central Arizona. Pre-registered group participants check in at 8:45 a.m. in front of the Museum, where knowledgeable local guides begin a day of sharing stories, history, and lore connected with each destination. Sign up early – there are a limited number of spots available for each tour.
Explore Constellation Road and the mines and settlements of the Wickenburg Mountains. Expert local tour guide Joe Stevens will take you to Sayer Station, the $17,000 Highway, and the United Group of Mines including the Town of Constellation, the Gold Bar mine with its glory hole, and the Monte Cristo mine.
$100 ($75 for Museum Members), 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., lunch and transportation provided.
Participants will enjoy a picnic lunch in Slim Jim wash. Cost is $75 for DCWM members, $100 for non-members. Register below or call 928-684-2272 after Oct. 1.
