In conjunction with our “Mexican Folk Art” exhibition we invite you to “Nuestra Virgin de Guadalupe”, a lecture with Dr. Eduardo Pagán. The Virgin of Guadalupe is an ubiquitous symbol throughout Latin America and in the United States. Drawing on history, anthropology, and religion, this presentation will explore the ways in which the native worldview inspires this dynamic symbol and presence. Thursday, December 8 at 11 a.m. in the Cultural Crossroads Learning Center. Free for museum members and with admission.
