The Wickenburg Art Club and the Desert Caballeros Western Museum, cornerstones of Wickenburg’s art community since the 1960s, are excited to announce this year’s “West of Center” show, a community-curated exhibition and sale. Each summer, the Museum hosts the Wickenburg Art Club which curates a selection of artwork by its talented members.
This collaboration, now lasting for a decade, was an outgrowth of the community’s interest in promoting art and business in Wickenburg’s historic downtown area and has been a success ever since.
The show will feature the work local artists adept in many different art media, such as, painting, ceramics, photography, wood-working, fiber art, jewelry, and more. There is something for every art lover to enjoy. Artists will also be giving free demonstrations during the run of the show. Details to be provided at westernmuseum.org closer to the opening.
