April 3, 2018: The opening weekend of the 13th annual Cowgirl Up! Art from the Other Half of the West exhibition and sale, March 23 – 25, 2018, broke sales records for this event, establishing this as the most successful opening weekend in the show’s history.

Dan Finley Named as DCWM Executive Director

January 11, 2018: Dan Finley has been selected as the new Executive Director for the Museum. Finley, who will begin his new role in February 2018, comes from the Muzéo Museum and Cultural Center in Anaheim, California where he has served as its Executive Director since 2014.

13th Annual Cowgirl Up! Art from the Other Half of the West Exhibition and Sale Artist Roster Announced

December 8, 2017: Now in its 13th year, Cowgirl Up! remains one of the major national events for Western women artists. The 2018 roster of artists boasts 55 artists who ride the range of techniques, styles, and mediums, traditional and contemporary.

September 29, 2017: Two new exhibitions at DCWM, All Over the Map: The Picerne Collection of Arizona Landmark Art and One Trader’s Legacy: Steve Getzwiller Collects the West, showcase the natural beauty and cultural diversity of Arizona.

6th Annual West of Center Exhibition and Sale

June 14, 2017: The Wickenburg Art Club takes over DCWM’s Cultural Crossroads Learning Center to curate and jury this annual exhibition and sale showcasing the artistic talents of the Wickenburg community. Diverse mediums including oil, photography, gourds, and bronzes reflect the diversity of experiences and perspectives that each member brings to the Art Club. Free artist demonstrations are held at the Museum on Saturdays at 1:00 p.m. throughout the run of the show.

Summer Exhibitions at DCWM
