SOLD George Spotted Elk

“George Spotted Elk was a showman with Pawnee Bill’s Wild West show. Travel and employment with the Wild West shows were a temporary alternative to reservation life. Native American performers received wages, food, transportation, living accommodations, and were allowed to wear their traditional clothing. Performers showcased equestrianism, demonstrated skills with bows and arrows, exhibited their artistry in dance and performed historical re-enactments.”
