Patsy Lowry is a third-generation Phoenician artist known for her vibrant, expressionistic paintings inspired by her desert surroundings. Her work is noted for its spontaneous, multi-chromatic style, which often incorporates neon-colored acrylic abstractions. Lowry’s background in the fashion industry informs her work through a celebratory use of patterning and repetition. Earlier in her career, she sold her tie-dyed fabrics to designers in New York, including the influential Halston.
