Opening: Members’ Opening Friday, October 24, 2025
On view from Saturday October 25 – Sunday, August 30, 2026
Location: Cultural Crossroads Learning Center

John Coleman is an award-winning American artist known for his bronze sculptures and paintings that explore the historical and mythological aspects of the American West, particularly focusing on Native American figures. Residing in Prescott, Arizona, Coleman became a full-time sculptor in 1994 and is a member of the National Sculpture Society as well as the Cowboy Artists of America. Coleman approaches art as more than just creating visually appealing pieces; he views himself as a storyteller and communicator, using his work to put a “physical face on a spiritual idea.” A newly installed monumental sculpture, Victory! Plenty Coups! will be celebrated during the opening. A Sculptor’s Lore features bronzes generously on loan from the Frankie and Howie Alper Collection.

Permanent installation of Victory! Plenty Coups! will be on October 25 adjacent to the Thanks for the Rain sculpture by Joe Beeler.
