Free Mexican Folk Art Panel Discussion Featuring Adolfo Castillo

Join our panel lecture, sponsored by Arizona Humanities featuring Adolfo Castillo, Publisher Editorial & Creative of Western Art Collector magazine part of International Artist Publishing LLC. The lecture will be centered around the subject of collecting artifacts and artwork.

Panelists: Adolfo Castillo—publisher of Western Art Collector and private collector; Dan Fout—private collector and lender to Artesania del Pueblo; Diana Pardue—chief curator at Heard Museum, institutional lender to Artesanía del Pueblo; June White—private collector and lender to Artesanía del Pueblo. Moderated by Dr. Eduardo Pagán—DCWM Adjunct Curator of History.

Free and open to the public. Great for folk art collectors, art lovers, history buffs and travel enthusiasts.

Mexican Folk Art: Artesanía del Pueblo exhibition we have on view in our Cultural Crossroads Learning Center. Made possible by the Mexican Consulate in Phoenix, the Tuscan Museum of Art, The Heard Museum, ASU Art Museum, Amerind Museum, and several private collectors to share the tradition of Mexican folk art from various regions of Mexico from the past through current date. This exhibition is on view through April 28, 2024.
