Jessica Garrett-Lawrence

Jessica Garrett-Lawrence has been an artist since she was a toddler. She started drawing around age 3 and never stopped. Drawing grew into painting, and in 2005 she was awarded a merit scholarship from Scottsdale Artists’ School and took a workshop with R.A. Heichberger, and another with Chris Saper. She has also taken some college art, and strives to continually grow, still taking workshops from artists such as Kevin Macpherson, Tim Deibler, Skip Whitcomb, and Jerry Salinas.

Jessica has had numerous one person shows at galleries representing her work. She has also participated in prestigious museum shows such as the Buffalo Bill Art Show & Sale in Cody Wyoming since 2010, and the esteemed Cowgirl Up! Invitational in Wickenburg, Arizona since 2014.

In 2018, she received the Governor’s Choice Award at Cowgirl Up! Invitational Art Show.

In 2019, she participated as an Artist in Residence at the Briton Museum in Big Horn Wyoming.

In 2020 at the Cowgirl Up! Invitational, Jessica received the Patron’s Choice Award.

Jessica’s work is represented by the SmithKlein Gallery in Boulder, Colorado; Mountain Trails Fine Art, Santa Fe, New Mexico; The Big Horn Galleries in Cody, Wyoming, and Tubac, Arizona; and Nanette Richardson Fine Art, San Antonio, Texas.
