Vicki Pedersen
Never lose an opportunity of seeing anything beautiful, for beauty is God’s handwriting.
– Ralph Waldo Emerson
Art has been a constant and vital companion for Vicki Pedersen throughout her life. She loves the Western way of life. She is passionate about painting the American West — its incredible landscapes, cowboys and cowgirls, Native Americans, and horses. She primarily paints with oils but also works in graphite and charcoal. Traveling throughout the west enables her to paint from life and take the photo references she uses in her studio in Riverside California.
Vicki has studied through various classes and workshops with a number of acomplished artists including Chad Poppleton, Richard Stergulz, Charles Dayton, Grant Redden, Frank Serrano, Debra Huse, and Joseph Todorovich.
Pedersen is a signature member of and serves on the board of the Women Artists of the West, member of the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society, and of the California Art Club. She has won several awards in national shows and has work in private collections throughout the United States.
Vicki is grateful to be able do what she loves and to see the world through artist’s eyes as there is so much beauty everywhere.
